Forvis Mazars strengthens M&A area with Íñigo Zumalabe

Forvis Mazars, has taken a significant step in its strategic growth plan by expanding its M&A legal practice with the addition of a highly experienced professional. The firm, has appointed Iñigo Zumalabe (pictured right) as new partner. With over 20 years of expertise in M&A and Private Equity, he has previously worked at top firms like Ecija, Freshfields, and Garrigues. Zumalabe will work with Gastón Durand, (poctured left), Head of the Legal area in the Madrid office and partner at the Tax department.

With a law degree from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Icade), the new partner has advised both national and international funds, as well as large corporations, on a wide range of M&A transactions. His experience spans investment, divestment, and joint ventures across various sectors. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, he served as a partner at Andersen.
