Kaye’s extensive career includes advising multinational corporations, institutions, and individuals across all areas of tax law. He has a strong focus on tax litigation and administrative proceedings, with a proven track record in designing defence strategies before federal and local tax authorities in Mexico. In addition to his litigation expertise, Kaye is well-versed in wealth management for individuals and companies, as well as providing tax counsel in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.
This appointment follows Pérez-Llorca’s recent merger with elite Mexican firm González Calvillo, marking another step in the firm’s strategic expansion in Mexico. Iván Delgado, Pérez-Llorca’s International Managing Partner, commented: “Our goal is to establish a leading legal practice in Mexico, serving clients on both sides of the Atlantic. The addition of Christian Kaye and his team underscores our commitment to providing top-tier legal advice across key practice areas.”
Rodrigo Rojas, a partner at Pérez-Llorca’s Mexico City office, highlighted the impact of Kaye’s arrival, stating: “Christian’s broad expertise and experience will significantly strengthen our tax advisory capabilities and complement the work of other practice areas within Pérez-Llorca Mexico.” The appointment is a clear indication of Pérez-Llorca’s continued investment in the Mexican market, as the firm aims to offer comprehensive legal services across a range of sectors in the region.
