A&O Shearman incorportes Juan Pablo Regojo as new head of risk & compliance

A&O Shearman has hired Juan Pablo Regojo, from the RB Iberia restaurant group, as the new head of Risk and Compliance for its Spanish office.

Regojo began his professional career in the Criminal Law and Corporate Compliance department of the law firm Garrigues in September 2004. After more than 11 years at the firm, he decided to embark on the corporate world.

In October 2016, he joined Grupo Nueva Pescanova as Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and Director of the Compliance Unit. Years later, he became Chairman of the Data Protection and Privacy Committee.

Later, in 2023, he became part of Restaurant Brand Iberia (RB Iberia), the business group that integrates the exploitation rights as master franchises of Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons in Spain and Portugal, as Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.

Mr. Rogojo holds a law degree from the University of Navarra (2000-2004). He has completed the Compliance Program at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Advanced Compliance Program at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles in Madrid.
