Andersen reaches 40 professionals in Málaga

Andersen now has 40 professionals in the city of Malaga, four of whom are partners, three are counsels and two are of counsels. Among the latest incorporations, the integration of the boutique specialized in economic criminal law Apalategui Abogados; the incorporation of Rafael Perea and Jorge de Gorría as partners, respectively, of the Commercial and Real Estate departments, and that of José Cortés as counsel of the Commercial department, stand out. In addition, the tax boutique Affasa has joined the firm and Alfonso Casado has been appointed as a partner in the Tax department.

Apalategui Abogados

Headed by the criminal lawyer Pedro Apalategui, Apalategui Abogados is a law firm with almost 50 years of experience and great prestige and recognition. It specializes in economic criminal law and criminal compliance, matters that are increasingly in demand by companies. After joining Andersen, Pedro Apalategui becomes Of Counsel of the Firm and Regina Apalategui, Counsel.

Rafael Perea

With a degree in Law from the University of Jaén and a doctorate from the same university, Rafael Perea has a career of almost 20 years of experience as a lawyer in which he has specialized in commercial law and digital law. He is also secretary of the board of numerous entities and teaches at the University of Malaga. Perea joins Andersen together with a team of professionals.

Jorge de Gorría

Jorge de Gorría holds a degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice from the University of Granada. Specializing in Real Estate Law, he has advised on numerous investment and divestment transactions in assets, and in the development and promotion of projects for investment funds, development companies and private investors. He also teaches on the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and the Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy at the University of Malaga.

José Cortés

José Cortés holds a degree in Law from the University of Navarra and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Instituto de Empresa. He has more than 30 years of professional experience as a lawyer specialized in commercial law.

Forecasts for the Malaga office

The firm forecasts that the Malaga office will exceed three million euros in turnover by the end of the current year, compared to the 542,000 with which it ended 2023. Looking ahead to 2025, Andersen is working with the objectives of reaching 70 professionals and raising its revenues to 6.5 million euros.
