Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão strengthens Tax department

After the September return, Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão announces a new member of its Tax team. Joana Ribeiro Pacheco, from RSN, joins the Tax team as a Senior Associate.

Pedro Marinho Falcão stresses that this hire represents yet another strategic investment: “Joana brings with her not only high technical quality, but also experience accumulated over several years of practice as a lawyer. It’s not common to find profiles as diverse as Joana’s, capable of adding so much value to the various areas of tax law,” he said.

With extensive experience in tax law, acquired in the Tax Litigation teams at Garrigues, Tax Law at Telles and, more recently, at RSN, Joana Ribeiro Pacheco is now part of the Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão project.

In addition to her technical skills, Joana also has significant experience in advising international clients in various areas of tax law, especially in the area of tax litigation.

With a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, Joana also completed a post-graduate course in corporate tax law at IDET, the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, and a master’s degree in tax law at the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto Regional Center.

As part of her academic career, she was a guest lecturer at ISPAB, where she taught Tax Law, and is regularly invited to speak at conferences on Tax Inspection and the State Budget.
