The lawyers María García Aguado and Maikelyn Vieira Acosta have founded the legal boutique García y Vieira Business Partner, specialized in legal advice on Socimi transactions.

María and Maikelyn have assumed the legal management of some of the most relevant operations in the Spanish marke. As the first migration or dual listing of a Socimi from the multilateral trading system Euronext Access Lisbon to BME Growth in Madrid. Also, the design of the legal strategy in the first takeover bid between two micro Socimi in Spain and others.
Its partners know the SOCIMI market both from an in-house perspective and from external advice. They have created and directed the legal department for companies in this sector.
María, partner and head of the firm’s legal department, explains that, with the creation of the new legal boutique, they aspire to become the legal partner of reference for micro Socimi in Spain. “We are the business partner of our clients and the outsourced legal counsel of their team. María’s career as a lawyer has been specialized in Corporate Law and Real Estate Law. Specializing in advising SOCIMIs and their relationship with multilateral negotiation systems. María has been the secretary of the board of directors and the legal director of a relevant real estate group.
Maikelyn Vieira Acosta
Maikelyn, meanwhile, is a lawyer specialized in Economic Criminal Law and Compliance. She is currently a member of the Spanish Association of Compliance (ASCOM). Her career has been focused on the servicing sector, SOCIMI and their relationship with regulated markets.
