CCA welcomes three new lawyers to Corporate team
CCA Law Firm has reinforced its Corporate team with three new female lawyers: the new partner Maria João Mata, senior associate Maria Antónia Rodrigues, and principal associate Catarina Flor Ferreira. Maria João Mata comes from Miranda & Associados. Specializing in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, Maria João has led several M&A transactions, including purchases and sales, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings such as mergers, demergers, transformations, dissolutions, and liquidations. Maria Antónia Rodrigues, meanwhile, comes from Antas da Cunha Ecija, and Catarina Flor Ferreira, from CCSL.
Strategic growth plan
“With over 20 years of experience, Maria João brings a wealth of expertise and a valuable perspective that will undoubtedly enrich our team and our clients. We are confident that her leadership and specialization will significantly contribute to CCA’s ongoing success,” states managing partner Domingos Cruz (pictured). This expansion is part of CCA Law Firm’s strategic plan “for growth and specialization in core areas — Competition and European Union Law and Insurance — which led to the hiring of six new lawyers”, says the firm in a press release.
