DLA Piper signs Yoko Takagi as Corporate and M&A partner
DLA Piper has hired Yoko Takagi, until now a partner at White & Case, as a new Corporate and M&A partner in the Madrid office, who will focus mainly on Capital Markets and Private Equity.

Yoko Takagi
With more than 23 years of professional experience, Yoko has worked for large companies advising on cross-border transactions and corporate finance. She is recognized as one of the leading lawyers in Spain in M&A and Capital Markets, according to rankings and directories.
A graduate in Law from the University of Navarra, Yoko holds a Master’s Degree in Banking, Corporate, Financial and Securities Law from Pompeu Fabra University. She also completed her studies at the College of Law and is admitted to practice in the United Kingdom and Wales.
Her clients are mainly private equity funds, corporations and international financial institutions, especially in the infrastructure and energy sectors, financial services and ESG, one of the pillars of the firm’s strategy. It also advises corporations on complex investment products to structure acquisitions.
