NITID Appoints Miguel Larios as Director of Regulation

NITID Corporate Affairs, a specialized consultancy in Communication and Public Affairs, has announced the appointment of Miguel Larios as its new Director of Regulation, a newly created role.

Larios will be responsible for advising both national and international clients on regulatory matters, a crucial area for industries like energy, telecommunications, and defense.

Prior to joining NITID, Larios was a partner at Cremades & Calvo Sotelo, where he led the Public Affairs Department. During his 20-year tenure, including 10 years as a partner, he played a key role in the firm’s strategy, international expansion, and corporate relations at the World Law Foundation.

This appointment marks the third senior hire in recent weeks, part of NITID’s strategy to strengthen its leadership team. Previous hires include Patricia Crespo as Director of Corporate Communication and Javier Balmaseda as Director of EU Affairs.

Daniel Ureña, President of NITID, highlighted the firm’s goal of “building a strong team of senior professionals to bring greater value to our clients.”

Larios holds a law degree from London Metropolitan University and a master’s in European Law from University College London, bringing a strong international background to NITID’s team.

NITID, previously known as MAS Consulting España, has over 20 years of experience managing reputations and representing over 250 national and international clients. The firm, with offices in Madrid and Brussels, is recognized as Spain’s top Public Affairs consultancy by PR SCOPE.
