Auren Appoints Ramón Ruiz de la Torre new partner

Auren, a global provider of professional services in auditing, legal advisory, consulting, and corporate services, has announced the appointment of Ramón Ruiz de la Torre as the new partner of Auren Legal. He will head the firm’s banking and capital markets law practice.

Ruiz de la Torre holds a law degree from CEU-Luis Vives University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. With over 30 years of experience, he has developed a strong specialization in banking law and capital markets. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous corporate, financial, and M&A transactions, including more than 15 IPOs, public offerings, capital increases, and a wide range of bond issuances. Additionally, he has overseen various corporate financing and restructuring operations and serves as the secretary of the board for multiple companies, including listed firms and investment service companies.

Prior to joining Auren, he worked at several prestigious law firms, including Linklaters, Ontier, Ramón y Cajal, and most recently, Martínez-Echevarría, where he led the financial law and capital markets practice.

Auren’s president, Mario Alonso, emphasized that Ramón’s addition “reinforces our banking and capital markets advisory services, which we see as crucial at a time when the market is anticipating significant transactions.”
