Carmen Diaz appointed Holcim’s chief people officer
Holcim has announced the appointment of Carmen Diaz, the company’s country CEO of Spain, as its new chief people officer, effective from October 1, 2024. Diaz will take over from Feliciano González Muñoz, who will facilitate a smooth transition before retiring from the company at the end of the year, states the firm.

Diaz has been a key figure at Holcim. During her tenure in the role of CEO in Spain, “she orchestrated a remarkable business turnaround, achieving record performance in the market. Her leadership has been instrumental in fostering a culture of empowerment and enhancing Holcim’s standing as an employer of choice”, says the company. Joining Holcim in 2002, Diaz has held a range of commercial and general management roles across major cities including Madrid, Paris, Lyon, and London.
