Cristina Balaguer Appointed as New CFO of Esker Ibérica

Esker, a company focus in the digitalization of business relations between suppliers and customers, has announced the appointment of Cristina Balaguer as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Esker Ibérica. Balaguer succeeds David Andrés, who has transitioned to the position of General Manager of the subsidiary. The multinational French company is headquartered in Lyon, with a presence in Europe, North America, Asia/Pacific, and South America.

Cristina Balaguer holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad CEU San Pablo and has been a part of Esker’s finance team since 2018. During her time with the company, she has witnessed its significant growth. Balaguer, who began her professional career in the financial sector in 2007, now leads a team of five individuals who work closely with Esker’s legal department.

After six years with the company, Balaguer takes on her new role with enthusiasm and confidence. She stated, “We have a strong and efficient finance department, thanks to the collaboration of all its members and the leadership of the management team. Additionally, our proprietary and highly intuitive platform, Esker On Demand, enables us to manage any legislative challenges, such as the upcoming ‘Crea y Crece’ law.”
