Telles advises Explorer IV on Gosimac majority stake acquisition
Telles has advised Explorer IV, a private equity fund managed by Explorer Investments Sociedade de Capital de Risco, on the acquisition of a 60% stake in the share capital of Gosimac Maquinações. Gosimac produces high-precision components for satellites, rocket ship structures, automotive parts, electronic components and the energy sector, generating over 80% of its sales in the international market.
The deal team
Explorer IV now assumes the role of majority shareholder of Gosimac. The current shareholders of the automotive company will retain a 40% stake and will continue to be involved in its management. The multidisciplinary team involved in this transaction was led by Mariana Ferreira Martins and coordinated by José Maria Braga da Cruz, partner and senior associate (both pictured) in Telles’ Corporate, M&A and Private Equity area.
