Pinsent Masons Global grows to €753.5M
International firm Pinsent Masons has closed FY24 with a global turnover of €753.5M. In Spain, the firm, which recently celebrated its seventh birthday in this market, has appointed Francisco Aldavero as managing partner for the Madrid office and has recruited Patricia Pérez as a new partner in the real estate team.
Francisco Aldavero, Managing Partner of the Madrid office, has a positive assessment of the year, stating that “it has been a positive year for our firm, which continues on the path of growth both globally and in Spain in particular. I am excited to be at the helm of the Madrid office, which continues to grow in line with our Firm’s priorities and with transactional practice as the driving force”.

The team has been involved in relevant transactions in the Spanish and international markets in the key sectors in which the firm specialises: energy, real estate, infrastructure, financial services and technology, science and industry. These include advising:
–Nexxus Iberia, in the acquisition of the container manufacturer Contenur from Acon Investments.
–Ardian, through GreenYellow, in its strategic alliance with Grupo Enhol.
-Ardian’s investee, Aire Networks del Mediterráneo, in the acquisition of Teradisk Consulting and Corellian Systems Security and Innovation, companies dedicated to cloud services; in the acquisition of 100% of the company Sysadminok; and in the acquisition of Idecnet, a Spanish company dedicated to the provision of services in the telecommunications sector.
–Bestinver in the purchase of the Irish N6 motorway connecting Galway and Dublin.
–Ardian in the integration of Syclef’s Spanish portfolio.
–Azora, in the acquisition of two hostels located in Barcelona and Dublin from Blackrock.
–Bridges Fund Management in the sale of the low-cost gym chain Viva Gym to Providence Equity Partners.
-DEIA, in the launch of its project for the Development of the Ecosystem for the Promotion of Aeromobility together with NTT Data with the aim of promoting the future of the Aeromobility sector in Spain.
