Telles welcomes four new lawyers
Telles’ team has four new lawyers, the firm has announced. Mariana Vilar Tavares and Sérgio Alves (both pictured left) join Telles’ Administrative and Public Procurement practice, coordinated by partner Pedro Almeida e Sousa. Ricardo Bandeira (pictured right center) joins the Real Estate, Construction, and Urban Planning team, also coordinated by Almeida e Sousa. Filipa Nunes Pinto (pictured right) joins the Employment and Social Security practice, coordinated by partner Gonçalo Pinto Ferreira.
The new lawyers’ profile
Mariana Vilar Tavares has focused her professional activity on administrative, judicial, and arbitral litigation, with a particular emphasis on public procurement and public services, as well as on providing legal advice to public and private entities. She holds a degree in Law and a Master’s in Administrative Law from the Faculdade de Direito of the Universidade do Porto, and a postgraduate degree in Public Labour Law from the Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas.
Sérgio Alves has developed his professional activity in Administrative Law and Public Procurement, providing legal advice to public and private entities, not only in the administrative phase but also in administrative litigation. He holds a degree in Law from the Faculdade de Direito of the Universidade de Lisboa.
Ricardo Bandeira specialises in urban planning and land management law, advising public and private entities in the management of pre-audit procedures, the development of real estate assets, as well as the drafting of urban planning contracts and the review of territorial management instruments. He has worked as a legal advisor in the Office of the Councillor for Planning, Urbanism, and Public Relations at Lisbon City Hall and in the Legal Department of Oliveira do Bairro City Hall. Bandeira holds a Master’s degree in Administrative Law, specialising in Energy, from the Lisbon Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University, and a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Law from the Porto Law School of the Universidade Católica do Porto. He graduated in Law from the Faculdade de Direito of the Universidade de Coimbra.
In recent years, Filipa Nunes Pinto’s professional career has been focused on providing in-house legal services to national and international companies. She was head of Legal at the Human Resources Department of the Joaquim Chaves Saúde Group and a lawyer at NetJets Europe, where she accumulated extensive experience in human resources management and labour processes. Pinto holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Faculdade de Direito of the Universidade de Lisboa and a Law degree from the same university.
