CS, PLMJ and VdA advise on the sale of AEDL
CS’Associados and PLMJ have advised Strategic Value Partners (SVP) and a group of minority investors on the sale of the concessionaire Autoestradas do Douro Litoral (AEDL) to Igneo Infrastructure Partners, which was represented by Vieira de Almeida. SVP acquired AEDL from Brisa in 2021, and the concession had been awarded to AEDL in 2007 for a period of 27 years. The transaction is still subject to the usual approvals from the grantor and regulatory authorities, and is expected to be completed later this year.
The transaction team
On the CS’Associados side, the team was led by Bernardo Abreu Mota, a partner in Corporate M&A, and Duarte Brito de Goes, a partner in Banking and Finance. The PLMJ team was led by Diogo Perestrelo, co-coordinator partner of Corporate M&A, with the support of Alexander Ehlert, Elsa Pizarro Pardal, and Carolina Inverno Branco from the Corporate M&A team, and Maria Zagallo, a partner in the Public Law area.
