Pinto Ribeiro advised AstroNova on MTEX acquisition
Pinto Ribeiro Advogados advised AstroNova Inc., a North American company in printing technologies, listed on the stock market, on the acquisition of MTEX NS, a Portuguese R&D and industrial production company, for approximately 24 million euros. According do Pinto Ribeiro press release, the operation will enable the North American company to broaden its global offer in terms of printing solutions, as well as strengthening its strategic position in the EMEA area. The acquisition was completed in May 2024, adding MTEX NS and its industrial park in the north of the country to AstroNova’s portfolio of subsidiaries.

The transaction was headed by managing partner João André Antunes (pictured left), and co-ordinated by lawyers Ana Luísa Oliveira (pictured left center), Daniel Costa (pictured right center) and Sara Oliveira Mendes (pictured right), among other lawyers from the firm.
