Álvaro Martín joins SLJ Abogados’ Criminal Law Department
SLJ Abogados, a boutique law firm specializing in complex litigation and led by Daniel Jiménez (pictured left), has recently welcomed Álvaro Martín Talavera (pictured right) to its criminal law department.
Martín Talavera brings extensive experience in handling economic and corporate crimes, workplace accidents, tax fraud, public administration offenses, environmental crimes, breaches of business secrecy, defamation, and more. He has provided legal counsel to national and international companies, executives, employees, and public administrations. His expertise has earned him recognition in renowned legal directories such as “Chambers Europe” and “Best Lawyers.”
In addition to his experience in economic crimes, Álvaro Martín Talavera is also specialized in the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, advising obligated entities in the financial, fintech, real estate, cryptocurrency sectors, and professional firms.
Prior to joining SLJ Abogados, Martín held positions at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, Andersen, and RSM Spain. His addition to SLJ Abogados is expected to further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in criminal law and complex litigation.
