RocaJunyent advises GSIF Spain on the investment in Éxxita Be Circular
RocaJunyent has advised GSIF Spain, the investment vehicle of the Spanish Global Social Impact Investments (GSI), in its investment in Éxxita Be Circular, for a total amount of €6,000,000, through various operations. This is the fourth transaction in which RocaJunyent has advised this fund, highlighting its specialization in the impact economy.
Éxxita Be Circular, based in Bollullos de la Mitación, Seville, has 20 years of experience in Circular Economy and specializes in reuse processes of electronic devices. The company has its own technology with which it recovers around 500,000 electronic devices every year, saving more than 110,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
The company, in addition to its Éxxita Academy training line, also manages a talent attraction program around its center in Bollullos de la Mitación (Seville) so that vocational training students from nearby schools can be trained and introduced to the device repair sector and circular economy models, with the aim of establishing a young and educated population in the region.
The operation has been led by the team specialized in impact investments, composed by partner Santi Pagès, managing associate Lourdes Amigó de Bonet and lawyer Javier Rodríguez.
