Dower advises on Subic’s acquisition of retailer Unicorbal
Dower Law Firm has successfully advised on the acquisition of a controlling stake in retailer UNICORBAL by SUBIC. The transaction was led by Eduardo Castro Marques, partner in charge of the Corporate and M&A area, supported by Cláudia Rodrigues Carvalho, Maria Beatriz Simões, and Duarte Nunes Pinto.
This marks the second acquisition within a year for SUBIC, following the recent purchase of ASGO. With this move, SUBIC strengthens its market position by integrating a new commercial and retail team, solidifying its status as a strong player in the sector.
UNICORBAL, based in Santa Maria da Feira, specializes in the retail of weighing and cutting equipment and their consumables, offering customized equipment and solutions, as well as providing maintenance and training services. From the other side, SUBIC is a prominent Portuguese company in the market for retail and food industry equipment solutions.
