DLA Piper Promotes Key Talent in Spain
DLA Piper Spain has announced the promotion of several professionals within the firm, effective July 1, 2024. Almudena Comin (Corporate, pictured left) and José Marco (Financial, pictured right) have been promoted to Counsel. Additionally, Beatriz de Basterrechea (Corporate), Carlos Espinosa (Tax), Elisa Lorenzo (IPT), and Victoria Marañón (Labor) have been elevated to the position of Legal Director.
Almudena Comin, who joined DLA Piper in 2006, brings extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in real estate, investment, and restructuring. José Marco, with over 15 years at the firm, specializes in structured finance, corporate financing, and debt restructuring, focusing on real estate and renewable energy projects.
Beatriz de Basterrechea, a specialist in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring, joined the firm in 2022. Carlos Espinosa, who has been with DLA since 2021, excels in transfer pricing policies and financial modeling. Elisa Lorenzo, rejoined in 2018, advises on regulatory and contractual matters in sectors like technology and entertainment. Victoria Marañón, at the firm since 2009, is renowned for her expertise in labor law and social security.
