Addleshaw Goddard advises on the incorporation of JB46 Partners and the launch of its new fund
Addleshaw Goddard has advised JB46 on the incorporation of the asset management company JB46 Partners, SGEIC aimed at continuing its long track record in the search fund sector.
In parallel to the establishment of this new fund manager, Addleshaw Goddard’s Funds team has advised JB46 on the structuring and upcoming launch of a new fund of search funds, JB46 SFI III, FCRE, which will have a size of approximately 40 million euros and will be focused on the acquisition of some thirty companies in sectors such as software, B2B services, light manufacturing, education and healthcare.
So far, JB46 has financed around 125 search funds worldwide and has a portfolio of 35 companies (60% in Europe and the remaining 40% in America) and more than 50 active searchers in these geographies.
The funds team that has advised JB46 in both transactions has been led by the managing partner Isabel Rodríguez, with the collaboration of senior associate María Mata and associate Enrique Aparicio.
