Selier Abogados incorporates Ángel Díez to lead the intellectual property, industrial and innovation law area

Ángel Díez joins Selier Abogados as Of Counsel and head of intellectual, industrial property and innovation law, a new area of specialization with which the Madrid-based firm reinforces its expansion and strategic growth with the purpose of consolidating its position in the middle market as a firm at the forefront in the provision of prevention and legal shielding services for companies.

The new Of Counsel has a degree in Law from the University of Valladolid, a Master in Industrial and Intellectual Property and Information Technologies from the University of Alicante (Magister Lvcentinvs), and a Master in Commercial Law from the Complutense University, Díez has more than 15 years of experience in the legal sector. A regular speaker at congresses and conferences in the sector, Díez combines his work as a teacher in masters and specialized courses of different public institutions or bar associations with his regular collaborations in the media.

He has a solid experience in all types of litigation with national and international clients in cases related to trademarks, patents, copyrights and software, designs, unfair competition and industrial fraud, among others. Familiar with matters involving other states in Europe, America and Asia, Díez also has experience in disputes with debtors, creditors, partners and shareholders of high net worth individuals.

After working for firms such as Ceca Magán or Estudio jurídico Lema Devesa, and after having founded his own firm, Díez joins Selier Abogados “excited, motivated and with a clear premise: to put all my intuition, commitment and business vision, acquired during almost two decades of work with top professionals, at the service of this firm which, in just five years, has managed to become a leading player in a scenario as complex and volatile as that of business law”.
