Marta Silva leaves VdA for Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão
The Labor Law department at Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão is bolstered by the addition of Marta Silva, previously a coordinating associate at VdA, where she transitioned from PLMJ.
With extensive experience in Labor Law, Marta Silva has distinguished herself in the sector, having spent over 18 years at PLMJ before her recent tenure at Vieira de Almeida.
Silva’s expertise spans various areas of Labor Law, including employee hiring, remuneration policies and benefits, work organization, termination of employment contracts, business restructuring, labor audits, and labor litigation.
For Nuno Cerejeira Namora, this recruitment “holds special symbolism.” The founding partner explained that as this practice area was the foundation of the firm 33 years ago, “it is always challenging to find profiles that meet the necessary standards to bring valuable individuals to our project.” He added that each new addition to the Labor team “carries great responsibility, as we believe we bear the trust and diligence that our clients place in us.”
Pedro Condês Tomaz, co-coordinator of the Labor department, conveyed that “this is a clear message to the market that the firm continues to seriously pursue sustainable growth, based on hiring professionals of excellence.”
In addition to Marta Silva, the Labor department will also include Rita Meira, former coordinator at Cameirão Advogados Associados, who now joins as an associate at the firm. The team will further expand with the integration of three associates and three new trainees, bringing the Labor Law team to a total of 30 lawyers.
