CMS advises on the acquisition of Congelados DIL by Pomona Group
The Pomona Group, through its Pomona Iberia network, has announced the acquisition of the Spanish companies “DIL” and “DECASA”, to further develop its specialized distribution network serving the foodservice industry in Spain.
Founded in 1967, Congelados DIL specializes in the distribution of food products, mainly frozen products, to out-of-home catering. Headquartered in Castellón (Valencian Community), it employs 80 people and generated sales of 34 million euros in 2023.
DECASA acts as a central purchasing center for food products with a network of 34 associated distributors throughout Spain.
With the acquisition of Congelados DIL and DECASA, which join Friolisa in Catalonia, Novafrigo in Madrid, and Sanamar in Malaga, the Pomona Group (through its Pomona Iberia network) strengthens and continues to develop its specialized distribution network serving the foodservice industry in Spain.
