Aena appoints Ignacio Castejón as Chief Financial Office

Aena has appointed Ignacio Castejón Hernández as Chief Financial Officer of the company, following the death of his predecessor, José Leo, last April. Castejón had held the position of chief financial officer of the airport manager since October 2022.

“Since he joined the company, José Leo not only diligently directed the company’s economic-financial policy, but his criteria, the result of his extensive experience and good sense, permeated many decisions that have been adopted in Aena during his term. It is impossible to erase the memory of a José Leo who passionately defended his projects and his teams, without ever losing his composure and with a fair dose of refined humor,” underlined Aena’s Chairman, Maurici Lucena.
