Fundación Mutualidad and Aranzadi La Ley seal their union in favour of the legal community

Fundación Mutualidad and Aranzadi La Ley have signed a collaboration agreement with the intention of mutually promoting their respective activities, thus consolidating a relationship that includes actions of different kinds in favour of the development of the legal sector and its professionals and students.

Aligned with three of the SDGs

This new agreement signed by Fundación Mutualidad is aligned with three of the SDGs established in the UN’s 2030 Agenda: SDG 4, focused on promoting Quality Education, SDG 8, focused on creating Decent Work and fostering Economic Growth, as well as SDG 17, which highlights the importance of Partnerships to achieve the goals set. On the part of Aranzadi LA LEY, the agreement is also aligned with SDG 5, focused on Gender Equality, and SDG 16, focused on Peace, Justice and strong Institutions, which preside over all its corporate activity.

Mutuality Foundation’s Training Plan

Thus, the text covers various initiatives that include, among others, training and development activities, promotion, sponsorships and publishing projects. Specifically, this agreement strengthens the Mutuality Foundation’s Training Plan, which since 2022 has been developed through Aranzadi La Ley Formación’s Virtual Campus with the Legal Campus, Law and Ageing Treaty and the Junior and Senior Career Campuses. These courses have provided students with complementary tools and skills for professional practice, while at the same time bringing the Treatise to a public interested in learning about the subject. More than 500 people have benefited from these sessions, which will continue throughout the year.

In addition, the Foundation has once again relied on the editorial experience of Aranzadi La Ley for the edition and publication of the second edition of the book “La organización profesional básica de la abogacía” (The basic professional organisation of the legal profession). This manual covers key aspects of professional practice and is aimed at improving the training of students in their specific preparation for the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and Procurement, reaching a network of more than 60 university centres throughout Spain thanks to the agreements that the Foundation has with these universities.

In addition, Aranzadi La Ley will be one of the sponsors of the IV Edition of the Fundación Mutualidad Awards, thus strengthening the recognition and visibility of this important event within the legal sector and where both actors are presented as references in their field for the group.
