Vincent AI integrates with iManage’s knowledge management platform
iManage, the Making Knowledge Work company, and vLex, the global legal intelligence platform, have announced a partnership agreement to develop an integration between the two platforms that will improve their clients’ workflows and knowledge management
Recognised as the leader in knowledge management, iManage serves more than 4,000 clients through its high-performance platform, in a fully reliable manner. On the other hand, vLex is trusted by millions of legal professionals around the world, in both the private and public spheres, to access the most comprehensive collection of legal knowledge.
The first fruit of this agreement will combine an organisation’s internal knowledge with vLex’s collection of legal content, offering an integrated, more efficient and fully secure search and documentation experience through iManage.
Vincent AI for iManage
Leveraging the capabilities of Vincent AI, the user will be able to use natural language to get an accurate answer to their legal questions or retrieve information from the content hosted in iManage Work. Vincent AI will build its argumentation by integrating the regulations and jurisprudence applicable in each case with the internal knowledge available in iManage, building not only a legally secure answer but one that is fully aligned with the organisation’s knowledge and practice.
This integration will initially be available from the vLex platform, leveraging the information retrieval capabilities of iManage Insight+. The integration will be at no cost to existing customers of both services and is expected to be available throughout the summer of 2024.
AI technology and one of the world’s largest legal content libraries

Vincent is currently deployed in 10 different jurisdictions, including the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Ireland, New Zealand and Singapore, with plans to add new jurisdictions on an ongoing basis. The tool was recently named the New Product of the Year 2024 by the American Association of Law Libraries.
“The collective intelligence, experience and best practices of law firms and corporate legal departments are housed in iManage Work,” said vLex CEO Lluís Faus. “Our goal with this partnership is to help organisations leverage these unique assets, using secure artificial intelligence tools, to differentiate themselves to clients. We are proud to work with iManage as leaders in the industry.”
