Pérez-Llorca Hosts ‘Laboral al Día’ Event in Barcelona

Pérez-Llorca‘s Labor, Compensation, and Benefits team held the second ‘Pérez-Llorca Laboral al Día’ of 2024 in Barcelona, discussing key labor law updates. Partners Manel Hernàndez (pictured centre) and Iván Gayarre (pictured left), along with Judge Jesús Gómez (pictured right), led the event.

Hernàndez highlighted recent significant judicial decisions, while Gayarre focused on new reforms introduced by Real Decreto-Ley 6/2023 and legislative trends, particularly concerning trans and LGTBI rights.

Gómez concluded the session by analyzing Ley 2/2023, emphasizing the protection of whistleblowers and the roles of the internal information system responsible and the compliance officer. The event underscored Pérez-Llorca’s commitment to staying at the forefront of labor law developments.
