Urbaser names new deputy general counsel and new M&A and corporate global legal director

Recent senior movements at the in-house level. Urbaser has appointed Belén Domínguez Domech as Deputy General Counsel and Enrique Blanco Antón as Global Legal Director of corporate and M&A, who will report to Fabiola Gallego, Urbaser General Counsel.

Belén Domínguez

Belén joins from Indra’s subsidiary, Minsait, where she held the position of head of global legal department. During this period Dominguez was responsible for a team of around 60 first class attorneys which utilize a practical and commercial approach to all Minsait businesses around the world.

Previously, he had already worked in the company, first in 2003 as senior legal counsel and then in 2021 as head of business legal department at Indra.

Throughout his career, Dominguez has been part of the legal counsel of companies such as Telefónica, France Telecom, Hewlett-Packard Española, or Banco Sabadell.

Enrique Blanco Antón

Enrique Blanco has spent most of his career working as an in-house lawyer. He joined Urbaser from Indra, where he held the position of Area Manager of legal advice. During this period he advised on a wide range of corporate and M&A transactions in all jurisdictions where Indra operates (more than 130 countries) in areas such as IT, Financial Services, Transportation and Defense.

In addition, I act as strategic and legal advisor in multiple areas such as venture capital, R&D, communication, partnerships, sponsorships, agreements with universities, marketing and institutional relations.

Previously, he was head of the legal department at Alcampo and acted as coordinator of M&A transactions in collaboration with external advisors. He also held the position of Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of subsidiaries owned by the Auchan Group in Spain and Member of the Ethics and Compliance Committee of the Auchan Group in Spain.

He is a professor of “Corporate Conflicts” taught by ICAM and Professor of Corporate Law in different programs taught by ISDE Law and Business School.
