Andersen launches its ‘French Desk’ led by María Olleros
Andersen Iberia has announced the launch of its French Desk, aimed at enhancing tax and legal advisory services for business relations between French-speaking companies and those in Spain and Portugal. This strategic initiative will facilitate bidirectional business development, supporting commercial endeavors and the expansion processes of Iberian clients in French-speaking markets.
The new team led by María Olleros together with partners Antonio Cañadas and Juan Ignacio Alonso will provide specialized guidance to foster seamless and effective business interactions, ensuring that companies can navigate the complexities of cross-border operations with confidence and precision. Olleros is partner as well as member of the Advisory Council of Andersen Global. She previously worked at Olleros Abogados and Garrigues.
The team offers advice in all areas of business law, such as incorporation of subsidiaries, M&A transactions, tax planning, labour law, litigation, IP/IT, data protection, public law and environmental law among others as as renewable energy, retail, agri-food, audiovisual and real estate.
The French Desk joins other working groups of the firm such as the Cuban Desk, led by Ignacio Aparicio, and the China Desk, led by Juan Ignacio Alonso. This new move underscores Andersen Iberia’s commitment to providing comprehensive and tailored services that meet the evolving needs of its clients, thereby reinforcing its position as a key player in the international business advisory landscape.
