Across Legal signs Andrés Martínez-Zurita as senior lawyer

Across Legal has signed Andrés Martínez-Zurita, from MZ Abogados, as a senior associate in the M&A and Venture Capital department.

Andrés Martínez-Zurita, a graduate in Law, holds an LLM in International Legal Advisory from IE Law School. Across Legal’s new recruit specialises in M&A, venture capital, startups, technology transfer, blockchain, contractual and corporate law.

He has developed his career in several prestigious firms and, in addition, he is an Associate Professor at IE Law School, teaching subjects such as “Blockchain and Digital Assets”. He has also taught “Entrepreneurship and Advice to StartUps” at IE Law School, in both cases receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award. He has worked with organisations and clients all over the world, from Singapore, the United States and Australia to the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Martínez- Zurita comments on joining the firm: “I am very excited about joining a firm with the projection, growth and positioning of Across Legal. It is an exciting challenge to be part of the firm and to further grow a key practice for the firm, such as M&A and venture capital”.

The current incorporation comes just a few months after the firm signed Carles Ros as partner, with more than 20 years of experience in venture capital, M&A and innovation and with more than 145 transactions advised, with an aggregate amount of more than €400M.
