KPMG Advises on Ausa Group Sale to Oshkosh Corporation
KPMG Abogados has played a key role in facilitating the sale of a 100% stake in Ausa Group to Oshkosh Corporation.
Ausa Group, headquartered in Manresa, Spain, is a global manufacturer of compact all-terrain machines for material transportation and handling. With €123 million in sales reported for 2023, Ausa boasts a strong international presence, exporting 70% of its production to over 90 countries through a network of 600 dealers. Oshkosh Corporation, a renowned US-based entity specializing in military vehicle design, production, and sustainment, has strategically acquired the Catalan group to bolster its accelerated growth agenda.
The collaboration between Ausa and Oshkosh dates back to 2020 through a partner agreement, culminating in this acquisition that supports Oshkosh’s expansion strategy.
KPMG Abogados provided comprehensive vendor due diligence services for this multidisciplinary project with a team composed by partner Ignacio Font and senior manager Ivette Aloy (both Tax), partner Eneko Belausteguigoitia and senior manager Angel Peña (both Commercial) as well as Juan Ignacio Olmos (Labour), and partner Carmen Mulet and Noelia Romero (Regulatory).
