Fieldfisher appoints Pablo Vinageras as new M&A partner

So far this year Fieldfisher has added Pedro Claros and Antonio Delgado, partner and counsel in International Arbitration, Javier Cuairán as partner in Criminal and Adriana Lafuente, partner in corporate M&A. In the latter practice area, Pablo Vinageras, who has also been counsel at Garrigues, has recently joined the Barcelona office as a new corporate M&A partner.

With this signing, the Corporate M&A team – led by Rodrigo Martos – now has 6 partners (Rodrigo himself, Paloma Mato, Mª Luisa de Alarcón, Ana Úbeda, Adriana Lafuente and Pablo Vinageras) and an of counsel (Xavier Miravalls).

Pablo Vinageras

Pablo, who has experience working in Mexico, USA and Spain, comes to Fieldfisher after more than 20 years working at Garrigues. Vinageras has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and commercial contracts, especially in relation to advising international investment companies with interests in Spain and start-ups. Of particular note is his participation in transactions involving the purchase and sale of shares and assets, joint ventures, financing rounds, investment agreements, collaboration and specialisation agreements, restructurings, etc. with transnational elements, with a particular focus on Anglo-Saxon countries, China and Latin America.

Vinageras is an associate professor at ESADE Law School (Universitat Ramon Llull) where he teaches international business law and is an honorary member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), as well as an active member of the International Bar Association (IBA).

Strengthen the traditional departments
