Remolques Unidos (RUSA) acquires Reyser Santander: Advisors
Dentons‘ Banking & Finance team has advised the Cantabrian company, Remolques Unidos, in its recent financing arrangement, structured by Banco Santander, acting as the agent and lender, alongside Bankinter, as a co-lender.
With this operation Remolques Unidos strengthens its presence in the Port of Santander with the acquisition of Remolques y Servicios Santander (“REYSER Santander”).
This intricate deal has been structured into two distinct tranches; the first tranche pertains to the acquisition of Reyser, meanwhile, the second tranche focuses on the acquisition of two pivotal assets – tugboats – critical for the operational success of the acquiring entity.
The team has been led by Luis Belart, partner of Banking & Finance, with the collaboration of Ignacio Fernández, Adelaida Torres, and Icíar Pérez-Puente.
