Girona FC and RocaJunyent sign a sustainability agreement

Girona FC and RocaJunyent have signed a collaboration agreement that aims to strengthen the commitment and support of Girona FC with sustainability. In this way, during the next fiscal year, it is expected not only to comply with current regulations and with the recommendations of the League and UEFA, but also to face the implementation at a strategic level of the necessary measures to move towards a management more aligned with sustainable development.

“In view of the new challenges that arise, and due to the growth that the Club is experiencing, this advice will allow to successfully face the compliance with the recent and growing regulations, as well as to continue making Girona FC a reference club in all areas”, the firm shared in a statement.

Among the main actions, it is planned to adapt the internal structure of the club to ensure a robust corporate governance structure, to organize and find the best way to report the actions already initiated or to be carried out in terms of sustainability and to strengthen the Club’s commitment through the United Nations Global Compact initiative.

RocaJunyent’s Girona office, which will soon celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary and continues its growth in the territory, will represent the firm in the Business Club of Girona FC, also participating in this forum with various initiatives to raise awareness of the Club’s sensitivity to sustainability issues, among other issues.
