Garrigues hires former Supreme Court Justice Jesús Cudero
Garrigues has announced the appointment of Jesús Cudero, former Supreme Court Magistrate, as its new Of Counsel in the Tax Department. Cudero brings over 38 years of judicial experience to his new role, specializing in tax law and appeals.
Prior to joining Garrigues, Cudero served as Of Counsel at Pérez-Llorca, where he focused on tax and litigation matters. His illustrious career began in 1987 when he entered the Judiciary, holding various positions in different courts, including the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid and the Administrative Litigation Chamber of the National Court.
In 2014, Cudero was promoted to the position of Magistrate at the Supreme Court, where he served in its Third Chamber, handling tax-related cases. With his extensive background in the judiciary, Cudero brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Garrigues.
As Of Counsel at Garrigues, Cudero will provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on tax matters and appeals, further strengthening the firm’s position as a leader in the field of fiscal law.
