CMS advises on the acquisition of two photovoltaic plants in Seville from the HIH fund
CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has advised the Luxembourg investment fund HIH Green Energy Invest on the acquisition of two photovoltaic plants in Alcalá (Seville), both owned by BayWa r.e. AG. With this transaction, the fund lands in renewables in Spain.
The transaction has been structured through the purchase of the entire shareholding of the Spanish vehicle Bielstein, the direct owner of the PV plants.
This solar park, which started up during the last quarter of the previous year, is expected to produce around 31 GWh of photovoltaic energy in its first year of full production.
The team advising on the transaction was led by Corporate / M&A partner Luis Miguel de Dios and senior associate Aleksandra Czajka from the same area.
