Amazon and Andrea Tel in antitrust and regulatory litigation in Italy and Spain

Andrea Tel (pictured) is the new senior competition/antitrust and regulatory litigation counsel at Amazon Italy and Spain. This is according to the Linkedin profile of the professional, who joined Amazon’s legal team in July 2021 as competition/antitrust and regulatory litigation counsel for Italy only.

Prior to joining Amazon, Tel worked as a corporate lawyer at BAT, where he worked on D2C, supporting disputes for the Americas and Sub-Saharan Africa and the Southern European area (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Israel). as well as tax, international trade and antitrust. At BAT he also handled the legal profiles of issues related to business conduct and governmental affairs compliance and communication.

He previously worked as a freelancer at the law firms Van Bael & Bellis in Brussels and Cuatrecasas in Madrid.
