CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo grows by 4.97% and reaches 48 million in 2023

CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo has achieved a net turnover of 48.78 million euros, 4.97% more than in the previous year, which means that this growth trend set out in the Strategic Plan that began in 2019 places it close to the 50 million euros barrier.

“These results respond to the positive performance that the Strategic Plan implemented by CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo for the period 2019-2023 has had on the business,” they said in a statement. The new Strategic Plan for the coming years places the client at the centre of the strategy and is based on three pillars: results-oriented work, sustainability in the medium to long term and team cohesion. The 2023 financial year also saw the appointment as co-managing partner of María González Gordon, partner in the IP and Digital Business area, who will combine her leadership within the firm with César Albiñana for the next four years.

Digital Regulation Hub

The firm has achieved these results “as a result of its in-depth knowledge of the sectors in which it provides advice, its experience and its vision to anticipate the new challenges facing its clients”, they explain. Proof of this was the launch of its Digital Regulation Hub to help companies surf the regulatory tsunami in the context of the plan “A Europe fit for the digital age” and which has had its most recent milestone with the approval of the first Artificial Intelligence Law.

Last year, CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo incorporated Alberto Mata as a partner in the Banking & Finance area, who was previously head of the Legal area in Spain at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, and Salvio Codes, as a partner in Litigation after an extensive career in various international law firms in litigation, arbitration and procedural advice.

In addition, CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo continues to advise on M&A transactions, with a clear focus on sectors such as energy, maritime and digital infrastructure.
