HKA appoints Juan Francisco as partner

HKA has appointed Juan Francisco Nasser as a partner in its forensic accounting and commercial damages (FACD) practice in Madrid. He joins from Grant Thornton, where he has led the firm’s litigation and disputes advisory practice in Spain.

Juan Francisco Nasser joins HKA as a partner, as part of the firm’s expansion in continental Europe. With more than 20 years of experience, he specialises in commercial damages quantification, business valuation and supporting companies and individuals in dispute resolution acting as an independent expert in a wide range of matters.

Having worked in a variety of sectors and jurisdictions, including Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia, Juan Francisco is experienced in advising clients on corporate transactions, commercial disputes and investigations. He regularly acts as an expert witness in the quantification of damages and contentious valuations in commercial litigation, and has testified as an expert witness on more than 60 occasions in both arbitration and court proceedings.

Juan Francisco joins HKA from Grant Thornton, where he led the firm’s litigation and disputes practice in Spain. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he was involved in a number of cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures as part of Indra’s M&A team. Juan Francisco is joined in Madrid by Michael Laming, director and forensic accounting expert at HKA.
