GreenYellow and Enhol join forces to invest 200 million in energy projects: Advisors

Cuatrecasas has advised Sidenhol on its alliance with GreenYellow to create a joint platform through which to invest €200 million in the development and operation of self-consumption photovoltaic projects.

The operation will mean the launch of a major player in the Spanish renewable ecosystem which, thanks to the synergies of both companies, will enable comprehensive offers of decarbonisation, energy savings and sustainable transition in the field of promoting self-consumption solutions.

“The integration of GreenYellow, an entity owned by the Ardian fund, and Sidenhol, a company of the Enhol group, represents a strategic alliance in the Spanish market for the development of innovative energy efficiency solutions for self-consumption and storage, which aims to become a major player in this market aimed at large industrial energy consumers,” said Alejandro Bonitch, a partner at Cuatrecasas.

The team was formed by Alejandro Bonitch, partner at Cuatrecasas, together with Mariano Ucar (both partners pictured), Álvaro Vierna and Leticia García-Gallardo, from corporate M&A, and Ignacio Giner and Ana Giménez, from public.
