Dentons elects Jabier Badiola to the firm’s European Council
Jabier Badiola, managing partner of Dentons’ Spanish office, has been elected to the firm’s European Council following a vote by all European partners. His term of office begins with immediate effect and ends on June 30, 2026.
The European Council is a governance body that provides oversight to the European CEO and the team he leads, and reviews major strategic decisions, initiatives and policies on behalf of Dentons’ partners across Continental Europe and Central Asia.

Jabier Badiola has been a partner at Dentons since 2015 and has led the Spanish office as managing partner since 2020, driving its success and bringing on board several new partners in the most strategic areas for the firm. In addition to his new role as a member of the Board, he will continue to serve as managing partner in Spain and advise clients as partner responsible for the Banking and Finance practice in Spain. He advises clients on a wide range of syndicated loan transactions, including acquisition financings, structured financings, project financings, corporate loans and debt restructurings.
