Pérez-Llorca Welcomes Iván Gayarre as Labor Partner

Pérez-Llorca has officially announced the appointment of Iván Gayarre Conde as the newest partner in its Labor practice. Gayarre will be based in the Madrid office, collaborating closely with the Labor teams in Barcelona and Lisbon.

With nearly 25 years of extensive experience, Iván Gayarre has held prominent roles in both public administration and other renowned law firms. Formerly an Attorney of the State and Inspector of the Services of the General State Administration on leave, Gayarre was previously a partner at Sagardoy Abogados.

His expertise spans various aspects of labor relations, with a particular focus on handling complex litigation, collective negotiations, and restructuring processes, including bankruptcy proceedings. Gayarre has worked across diverse sectors, including public, financial, technological, health, education, science, aviation, media, port, and road transportation.

A graduate in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, Gayarre earned the Advanced Studies Diploma in the ‘Business Law’ Ph.D. program at the University of Huelva. He has been an academician of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation since 2013 and co-director of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Law Forum at the FIDE Foundation (currently ESG) since 2009. He has also completed the Executive Program on New Technologies at The Valley.

In addition to his legal career, Gayarre has a strong academic background, serving as a professor of Labor Law and Social Security since 2003 in both public and private universities. He is the author of several publications and frequently acts as a speaker in various public and private courses.

Gayarre’s professional achievements include recognition by Chambers Europe in the ‘Employment: Elite’ category and acknowledgment by Best Lawyers® in ‘Labor and Employment Law.’
