SMFC integrates André Oliveira Costa as partner

The Portuguese law firm SMFC, has strengthened its commercial, corporate & M&A, real estate and dispute resolution teams. The firm has announced the integration of André Oliveira Costa (pictured left) as partner, as well as António Magalhães Mendes (pictured top right) and Catarina Teixeira (pictured bottom right).

André Oliveira Costa, who moved from Rogério Alves & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, where he co-led the commercial and corporate department, having also worked at VdA and DLA Piper ABBC, has 20 years of experience. The lawyer has advised, over the years, several commercial companies and Investment Funds in various operations, namely acquisition operations, establishment of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring of corporate groups and Corporate Finance operations.

With the hiring of António Magalhães Mendes and Catarina Teixeira, SMFC reinforces the growth objectives of the firm’s areas, in particular, the commercial, corporate and M&A department, led by partners Manuel Ferreira da Costa and André Oliveira Costa.
