Clifford Chance and Ontier advise on the €700m financing granted to Abertis
Ontier and Clifford Chance have advised on the EUR 700 million financing granted to Abertis Infraestructuras in connection with the acquisition of a majority stake in the concessionaire company of the State Highway 288 in Houston, Texas (U.S.A.).
The transaction is part of the new strategic collaboration agreement between the majority shareholders of Abertis, in order to strengthen their global leadership in ground-transportation infrastructure concessions.
Clifford Chance team has advised a syndicate of 9 credit entitiesand comprised global financial markets partner Epifanio Pérez, senior associate Ignacio Magariños and associate Beatriz González.
Ontier has advised Abertis Infraestructuras as borrower with a Banking & Finance team including partner Álvaro Barro and lawyers Luis Carretero and María Gardeta.
