Cuatrecasas advises on the sale of the Continente Montijo hypermarket to Fundo VIP

Cuatrecasas advised Nhood Services Portugal on the sale of Sonae’s Continente Montijo hypermarket to Fundo VIP – Valores e Investimentos Prediais.

The Continente hypermarket in question is integrated into the Alegro Montijo shopping center, managed by Nhood and which in 2023 attracted 7.4 million visitors. The transaction was brokered by Nhood and RPE.

The Cuatrecasas team was coordinated by real estate and urban planning partner Sara Quaresma and senior associate Fernando Costal Carinhas, from the same practice (principal picture), as well as partner Gonçalo Bastos Lopes, senior associate Maria Inês Cotrim and associate Daniel S. de Bobos-Radu, from the tax practice.
