Baker McKenzie advises Siemens on the acquisition of Bunt Planet

Siemens has made a significant move to bolster its presence in the water industry’s artificial intelligence (AI) landscape by acquiring BuntPlanet. This strategic acquisition aims to enhance Siemens’ portfolio for water industry clients, focusing on the reduction of unaccounted-for water.

BuntPlanet specializes in providing cloud-hosted AI solutions tailored for water utility companies. The company’s expertise aligns seamlessly with Siemens’ commitment to advancing digital solutions in the water sector. As part of the integration plan, BuntPlanet will become an integral part of Siemens Xcelerator, the company’s comprehensive business platform.

Baker McKenzie‘s Corporate M&A team has advised Siemens on the acquisition of Bunt Planet from several sellers.
