Pinsent Masons advises on the purchase of Idecnet
Pinsent Masons has advised Grupo Aire on the acquisition of the Canary Islands operator Idecnet to expand its network infrastructure and add a new data center to its network of proprietary data centers.
The incorporation of Idecnet is part of Grupo Aire’s strategy of incorporating companies that allow it to boost its growth, strengthen its positioning and create synergies in its portfolio of solutions.
Idecnet, created in 1995 and headquartered in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, stands out for being the first operator of 10G dedicated circuits in the Canary Islands. Focused on advanced technological solutions and personalized attention, it provides connectivity, data center and voice services to more than 1,100 business customers, public administrations and operators in the Canary Islands with a turnover of more than 4 million euros in 2023.
The team is led by Francisco Aldavero, corporate partner, together with Irene Rodríguez, associate, and Alfonso Pobes, associate, both from the corporate team (pictured). The tax, labor, regulatory and TMT teams of Pinsent in Madrid have also participated, including Gonzalo Gil Suarez, Samuel González, Paloma Bru, Amaia Rivas Kortazar, Isabel Elena Wimmer, Beatriz Moriones, Lidia Vidal Vallmanya, María Gutiérrez-Bolívar Fernández and Marta Ibars Clavel.
