Strategic alliance
The boutique of Aragonese origin, Atland Abogados, with experience in the middle market, and led by professionals with more than 25 years of experience in large law firms, takes another step forward in its growth plan thanks to this new agreement, months after opening offices in Madrid and Barcelona.
For Juan Jiménez and Javier Moreno, partners of this firm specialized in commercial, tax and M&A transactions, among other areas, this alliance will not only “allow middle market companies to continue to benefit from comprehensive legal advice that covers all their needs, but will also provide them with access to new professional profiles of the highest prestige that will undoubtedly help them to preserve their interests in all types of jurisdictions”.
Strengthening the international aspect
The other part of this strategic alliance, MDC Abogados, is a legal boutique specialized in criminal compliance led by partners Juan Molins and Manuel de Cárdenas, independent professionals with more than 35 years of experience in the legal profession. As they themselves point out, the firm is focused “in the creation of ad hoc Compliance Programs, criminal defense of legal persons and in all those matters that, directly or indirectly, are related to regulatory compliance within organizations, whether SMEs or large corporations”. All this following quality requirements in accordance with UNE 19601 or ISO 37301 standards.
The Madrid-based firm also has a strong international profile. “This aspect has enabled us to foster relations with other professionals from countries such as Germany, Austria, England, Ireland, France, Italy, as well as the United States, Mexico and Japan, so that we can meet a global demand by defending the interests of Spanish companies abroad – or vice versa – through our associates and previous experience,” says Molins.
